2022 is going to be our 13th year at Hardtimes. We have booked 12 great bands.
Wahoo!
We are excited to announce the bands for the 2022 Hardtimes Bluegrass Festival on July 22, 23 & 24.
Johnny Campbell Band Nashville, TN. We are tickled to have this group of professional musicians from the motherland of bluegrass music. Enjoy!
New this year is 93 North from Salmon, Id. They will feature the finest in old style traditional bluegrass tunes.
Phyllis & Helen will open up Saturday as a new duet. Phyllis Erck from Anaconda, Mt and Helen Lude from California have a lot of fun playing and singing together and we'll be treated to some very special harmonies and picking.
Dry Buck from western Idaho, amazed everyone last year with their great traditional versions of bluegrass standards. (they are super cool!) Kentucky Sky from the Idaho Falls area, are a newly formed group that is going places in the bluegrass world. Proud to have them! They feature many original songs played the right way. (wink, wink)
From the Billings Mt area, is Song Dog Serenade. They are a band that the crowd loves to hear perform. (They play like they mean it!)
Ladd Canyon Ramblers from Oregon are something completely different. They are a group of old timers and feature their layed-back style that the crowd just loves to hear. (such a bluegrass treasure!)
Lochwood from Missoula Mt, is a joy to listen to. They play a wide variety of old-style bluegrass standards. (they even play some slow tunes)
The newly formed Montana Standard hales out of Bozeman Mt, and features the final word in true veteran bluegrass musicians from Montana. (they are cool)
Coming out of Missoula Mt, is the long time group, Pinegrass. Long time friends and they have been playing bluegrass since before the cows came home.(keep up the good work)
The Darby Sireens was formed after watching the "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" movie years ago. These gals play the-old time music the old time way, and have fun doing it.
Last but not least, are the festival hosts Mike & Tari Conroy with bass player Tim Ezzel. They feature oldtime bluegrass duet style music played with three chords. (Ralph Stanley always said if you're playing more than three chords, you're just showing off) hee hee
Bring your family and people you like - well, you can even bring people you don't like....just don't sit next to em!
BRING ON THE FAMILY FUN!
